Job DescriptionRepair and maintenance of Air Conditioner in the crane , mobile equipment, substation and administrative offices adhering to the defined safety and quality standardsConduct preventive maintenance and repair of the air conditioner equipment to maximize the reliability of the operation and minimize breakdowns and disruption to the operationCreate and follow a preventive maintenance schedule and documents checks done and issues seenMaintain HVAC systems installed on QC and RTG cranes, including operator cabins, electrical rooms, E-houses, machinery rooms, and control rooms.Maintain air-conditioning systems serving substations, MV/LV rooms, SCADA rooms, and other critical electrical facilities.Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Air Handling Units, including fans, motors, belts, bearings, filters, dampers, coils, actuators, thermostats, and condensate drainage systems.Analyze repetitive HVAC failures, support root-cause analysis, and recommend permanent corrective actions or system improvements.Read and understand HVAC drawings, electrical diagrams, control circuits, technical manuals, and manufacturers documentationMonitor and inspect air conditioners on a regular basis to check condition and prolong service lifeCarry out fault diagnosis on the air conditioners and ascertain the cause of defects, repairmethods, and spare part requirementsPrepare and follow preventive maintenance schedules and accurately document inspections, measurements, defects, and completed work.Attend emergency breakdowns immediately and restore equipment safely within the shortest possible time.Monitor temperature, humidity, cooling performance, refrigerant pressure, airflow, and equipment alarms in critical areasSelect the correct spare parts and obtain technical information from the manufacturers parts and technical manualsIdentify critical spare-part requirements and support the preparation of purchase requisitions after obtaining the required approvalCoordinate with crane, electrical, MV, SCADA, and operations teams when HVAC work affects critical operational equipmentSubmit routine inspection and monitoring reports as requiredAttend breakdowns as reported by Supervisor on immediate basisEnsure accurate, up to date information is provided in the work order for input into the systemEnsure that work order is generated (in coordination with foreman) for all air conditioner related workSubmit correct information about start time and end time of maintenance activityEnsures tidiness and cleanliness of workshop facilities and all equipment for which he is responsibleResponsible to maintain safety and discipline in the work areaEnsure compliance with Fatal Risk StandardsEnsure compliance with Safe Work PracticesEnsure compliance with HSE policyReporting accidents and near misses in accordance with defined safety proceduresJob Resposibilities EducationPreferable: Higher SecondaryPreferable: Certification about any recognized course in managing air conditioner equipment is requiredConversant with technical/ parts manuals, and drawingsFully conversant with safety proceduresMandatory: 4 to 6 years Repair and maintenance of Air Conditioner in the crane , mobile equipment, substation and administrative offices
