Architectural Site Engineer

1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Oversee and monitor daily architectural and finishing activities on-site.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material specifications.
• Inspect ongoing work to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
• Verify proper installation of architectural elements such as partitions, ceilings, flooring, cladding, doors, windows, façades, and all interior/exterior finishes.

2. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with civil, MEP, and structural teams to resolve site conflicts and ensure smooth workflow.
• Attend site meetings with consultants, contractors, and project management.
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors and foremen to ensure correct implementation of instructions.

3. Technical Review & Documentation

• Review and provide feedback on shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and method statements.
• Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to architectural works, inspections, NCRs, and site observations.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing RFIs (Requests for Information) when design clarifications are needed.

4. Quality Assurance & Control

• Ensure all architectural work complies with industry standards, contract documents, and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks before consultant/client handovers.
• Identify and rectify any defects or non-conformities in a timely manner.

5. Health, Safety & Environment

• Ensure that all architectural work is executed according to HSE regulations and site safety guidelines.
• Report unsafe practices or conditions to site management.

6. Materials & Resources Management

• Follow up on material deliveries, storage, and handling to ensure quality.
• Ensure materials are installed correctly and according to approved samples and specifications.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in architectural site supervision for construction projects (residential, commercial, or industrial).
• Strong knowledge of architectural finishing works, details, and execution methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), MS Office, and site management software.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• High attention to detail with strong quality-control mindset.
