Barista Coffee

Q AND A CAFE LLC, operating under the brand name Cene Coffee, is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our café team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, committed to excellent customer service, and able to prepare high-quality beverages while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming work environment. The Barista will support daily café operations and help ensure every customer receives a friendly and consistent experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, tea, and other menu items according to company standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.
• Welcome customers, take orders accurately, and provide friendly and professional service.
• Handle cash, card payments, and point-of-sale transactions when required.
• Maintain consistent beverage quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Keep the bar, counters, equipment, and customer areas clean and organized.
• Refill coffee, milk, syrups, cups, packaging, and other operating supplies.
• Check product freshness and follow proper food-safety and hygiene procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, stock counting, and basic inventory control.
• Respond to customer questions and requests in a polite and helpful manner.
• Work effectively with team members during busy service periods.
• Follow all company policies, operational procedures, and health and safety requirements.

Working hours

• Full-time position.
• Flexible availability is required, including weekends, public holidays, and rotational shifts.
• Ability to work during busy periods and extended hours when required.

Desired skills

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant environment.
• Good knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee extraction, milk steaming, and beverage presentation.
• Familiarity with different coffee drinks and basic coffee-making techniques.
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy environment.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and professional appearance.
• Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and detail.
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling is preferred.
• Barista training or a relevant coffee certificate is an advantage.

Additional requirements

• Experience: 1–2 years preferred.
• Education: High school or equivalent preferred.
• Must be reliable, punctual, well-groomed, and customer-focused.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.
• Availability to join immediately is an advantage.
