DHA Pharmacist

The Pharmacist will play a vital role in supporting patient care by dispensing medications accurately, providing expert advice on drug therapy, and ensuring compliance with DHA and UAE regulations.

The role focuses on delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered pharmaceutical services, with a strong emphasis on diabetes management and chronic disease care.

Key Responsibilities include

• Dispensing & Patient Care:
• Regulatory Compliance & Safety with DHA and UAE federal pharmacy laws and guidelines
• Collaboration & Support to physicians, nurses, and dieticians to support patient treatment plans
• Operational Duties (Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants as needed, inventory management...)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Valid DHA Pharmacist License
• Minimum 2-3 years of pharmacy experience
• Experience in healthcare or clinical setting preferred; retail pharmacy experience acceptable if combined with strong patient counselling skills
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and chronic disease management
• Excellent communication and patient counselling skills
• Excellent English
• Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and basic IT applications
