Electrical Technician

Role Description The Electrical Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo, responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment within the production facility. The role includes performing routine electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery, production lines, and support utilities to minimize downtime and maintain safety. The Electrical Technician will diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, replace or repair components, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement preventive maintenance plans. The role also involves documenting maintenance activities, following safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in line with manufacturing and food industry requirements. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and working with Electrical Equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Electricity and practical experience with Electrical Engineering principles relevant to plant operations. Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve electrical faults and equipment malfunctions. Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field. Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or similar process industries is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Strong commitment to safety practices, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in New Cairo.
