Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza, supporting customers served through the flix-egypt platform. The technician will install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heaters, and related equipment. Daily tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing troubleshooting and repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring work is completed safely and in line with relevant standards and guidelines. The technician will interact directly with customers, explain findings and recommended solutions, provide clear, transparent estimates, and document work through photos and job reports. The role requires punctual arrival to customer locations, adherence to flix-egypt quality and safety procedures, and collaboration with the operations team to ensure timely, professional service delivery. Qualifications Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, including advanced Troubleshooting skills for HVAC systems.Working knowledge of Electricity, including safe handling of wiring, circuits, and electrical components in heating and air conditioning units.Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices for HVAC equipment, such as cleaning, inspection, and performance checks.Familiarity with basic Plumbing as it relates to HVAC systems (condensation lines, drainage, and related connections).Understanding of EPA-related guidelines or equivalent environmental and safety standards for refrigerant handling (formal certification is an advantage).Prior experience as a Heating Air Conditioning Technician or in a similar technical role in residential or light commercial settings.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and work orders, and to complete service documentation accurately.Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, professional behavior on-site, and respect for customers’ homes.Ability to work on-site across Giza and nearby areas, with reliable transportation and readiness for field-based work.Relevant vocational training or technical diploma in HVAC
