Lab Technician

Description Westview International Language School is excited to announce a vacancy for the position of Lab Technician for the academic year 2026-2027 at our prestigious network of educational institutions. The Lab Technician will play a crucial role in supporting science education by managing laboratory resources and assisting with practical experiments. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials in readiness for practical classes and experiments. Support science teachers with laboratory demonstrations and experiments. Ensure the laboratory complies with health, safety, and sanitation standards. Maintain accurate stock records of laboratory supplies and equipment. Clean laboratory spaces and properly dispose of laboratory waste. Report any faults or damages to laboratory equipment promptly. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or a related field. Previous laboratory experience in an educational setting is advantageous. Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and protocols. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Good communication skills to effectively assist teachers and students.
