Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Description We are seeking a qualified candidate with experience in maintenance and operation of industrial equipment including evaporators and dock levelers. The role requires knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP standards, and the ability to implement these in daily operations. The candidate should be familiar with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures. Experience with packaging machinery such as VFFS and Flow Pack systems is essential. Requirements Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in maintenance within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector or similar industries. Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments ranging from -18°C to +4°C. Strong mechanical skills including maintenance of gearboxes and couplings. Proficient in troubleshooting pneumatic systems and components such as FRL units and pneumatic valves. Experience with welding techniques including TIG and ARC welding for equipment repair and maintenance. Knowledge of mechanical seals, O-rings, and gaskets replacement and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and technical documentation.
