MEP Manager

MEP Manager:

Oversees the design, coordination, installation, and testing of building services in construction projects to ensure they meet safety, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Design & Coordination: Oversee the planning and integration of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical power distribution, lighting, plumbing, and fire protection/firefighting systems into the overall building architecture.
• Subcontractor & Team Management: Lead and supervise MEP engineers, site supervisors, and external trade contractors.
• Drawings & Submittals Review: Review shop drawings, technical submittals, material specifications, and interim payment certificates (IPCs).
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, safety regulations (HSE), and international standards (such as ASHRAE or NFPA).
• Commissioning & Handover: Manage system testing, startup, commissioning, and final project handover to the owner.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: Typically 7 to 15 years of progressive experience in MEP construction, design, or project management.
