Nurse (nursery)

The nursery nurse is responsible for creating and maintaining best practices in relation to the health & safety and well-being of children in our care.

Main Accountabilities

• Maintaining children’s medical records, ensuring all required medical information and documents are up to date.
• Be up to date with the latest requirements, policies, and procedures in nurseries
• Overseeing health and safety, hygiene, and sickness policies and ensuring the clinic is kept up to date for DHA or any other government body inspections
• Supporting teachers in classrooms as an assistant teacher, wherever needed
• Carrying out first aid treatment for children and staff, and or calling for emergency assistance whenever required.
• Ensure compliance with DHA rules and regulations.
• Provide training for the nursery on the management of allergies and other major medical conditions to promote good health care practice.
• Practices infection control policies and has awareness of this in everyday practice.
