Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer – Mechanical to manage end-to-end procurement of mechanical equipment, MEP systems, and industrial materials for EPC, construction, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in domestic and international sourcing, supplier negotiations, import/export operations, and project-based procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of mechanical, MEP, and industrial equipment for EPC projects.
• Handle domestic and international sourcing, including import and export operations.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and negotiate competitive prices and commercial terms.
• Manage RFQs, vendor quotations, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier relationships.
• Procure equipment and materials for industrial facilities, factory installations, construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely material delivery.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, project requirements, and company procurement policies.
• Monitor supplier performance, procurement costs, delivery timelines, and material availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in mechanical procurement.
• Strong experience in MEP procurement and EPC projects.
• Hands-on experience in international sourcing, import/export procedures, and procurement documentation.
• Experience procuring equipment for industrial, factory installation, construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of procurement of chillers, pumps, firefighting systems, steel structures, valves, cranes, and process equipment.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, cost control, and coordination skills.
• Candidates with combined civil and mechanical procurement experience will be preferred.
• UAE experience will be an added advantage.
