Product Support Technician

Konecranes Lift Trucks is a business unit within the Port Solutions business area, a global leader in container handling solutions. We provide a complete range of heavy-duty lift trucks, combining robust engineering, smart technologies, and reliable performance to support customers across ports, terminals, logistics hubs, and industrial operations worldwide. We are looking for a Product Support Technician to join our local team in Dubai and strengthen our technical capability across the Middle East & Africa region. In this role, you will support dealers and customers by delivering technical training, ensuring high-quality assembly and commissioning, and providing expert troubleshooting for Konecranes Lift Trucks and Liftace products. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality, improving technical knowledge across the network, and supporting future business growth.Key responsibilities:Develop the technical skills and product knowledge within the dealer networkTrain and guide dealers on assembly and commissioning processes for Konecranes Lift Trucks and Liftace productsPerform assembly, commissioning, and inspections when requiredDeliver classroom and hands-on technical training for customers and dealersInstruct end-users operators and technicians on safety, functionality, operation, and maintenanceProvide troubleshooting support both on-site and remotely (phone/email)Supervise field activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standardsVerify that products meet specifications and quality requirementsIdentify and report non-conformities and technical issues in a clear and standardized mannerVisit customers and dealers to provide technical advice and support product performanceEnsure correct interpretation and application of Konecranes Warranty Policy Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fieldExperience in heavy equipment, material handling, or industrial machineryStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExperience in technical training or field service is an advantageCustomer-oriented mindset with strong communication skillsWillingness to travel across the MEA region
