Quality Technician

Working as part of the Quality department on the project, the Lab Technician will be working closely with the Quality Engineers / Construction Engineers / Project Quality Manager to undertake onsite Testing’s (Concrete, FDT, PLT and Etc.,), Other materials testing coordination with approved 3rd party laboratory, Follow up, Tracking, Receiving, Verification, Register and Submission of Test Reports to consultant in coordination with Project Quality Manager and MIR Preparation, Submission and Coordination with consultant for obtaining approval.Undertake on-site Testing’s (FDT, PLT & Others) of completed works as per requirements of approved ITPs. Undertake on-site Testing’s of Fresh concrete and Sampling works as per Project requirements of approved MSRA. Coordinate with Quality Engineers / Site Engineers / Quality Manager to plan and schedule the testing’s for completed works in advance Coordinate with Consultant Inspector for witnessing of all on-site testing’s Ensure all the Concrete cube samples are timely transported to 3rd laboratory for testing Follow-up with third party laboratory for the pending test reports Monitor Tracker for materials testing and Test Reports to ensure all reports are received Verify all the test reports received as per the project and standard requirements and register into the log Conduct material inspections, raise MIRs to Consultant, and attend inspections as required. Monitor storage of materials on-site and in storage areas to ensure that manufacturer requirements are adhered to. Prepare Test Report submittals for all test reports in coordination with Quality Manager for Consultant review and approval Addressing any failures on Test reports and Noncompliance to the Project Quality Manager 2- 5 Years of Experience in the field of construction
