Job Description: Salesman / Storekeeper for Perfume Shop Department: Retail Operations Location: Dubai or Sharjah Reports to: Store Manager / Branch Manager Employment type: Full-time Position Summary We are looking for a confident, personable and sales-driven Salesman/Storekeeper to join one of our perfume retail branches. You will be the face of our brand: welcoming customers, guiding them to the right fragrance, closing sales, and keeping the shop's stock and presentation in excellent order. The ideal candidate loves people, has a natural talent for selling, and takes pride in running a tidy, well-stocked store.Sales and Customer ServiceGreet every customer warmly and create a welcoming, premium shopping experience.Understand customer preferences, occasions and budgets, and recommend suitable fragrances with confidence.Demonstrate products knowledgeably, explaining fragrance families, notes, longevity and differences between brands and collections.Upsell and cross-sell, including gift sets, travel sizes, matching body products and complementary scents.Close sales effectively and meet or exceed individual and branch sales targets.Build lasting relationships with regular customers and encourage repeat visits.Handle questions, objections and complaints politely and professionally, escalating to the management when needed.Offer gift wrapping and personalised service where applicable.Cash Handling and TransactionsProcess sales accurately through the POS system, including cash, card and other payment methods.Handle opening and closing cash counts, and report any discrepancies promptly.Issue receipts, process returns and exchanges according to company policy.Storekeeping and InventoryReceive, check and record incoming deliveries against invoices and report any damage or shortages.Store stock safely and in an organised way, with correct labelling and easy retrieval.Replenish shelves and testers regularly so displays are always full and attractive.Monitor stock levels and inform management of low-stock or fast-moving items.Store Presentation and MaintenanceKeep the shop, counters, shelves and testers clean, tidy and visually appealing at all times.Set up displays, promotions and signage as directed by management.Maintain security and safety standards within the store. Required Qualifications and SkillsConfident, selling ability with excellent communication and persuasion skills.Good spoken English; Arabic and/or other languages are a strong advantage.Basic computer and POS skills, and good numeracy for cash handling.Willingness to work shifts, weekends and peak retail periods, and to stand for long hours.Preferred AttributesPassion for fragrance and eagerness to learn about oud, attars, designer and niche perfumes.
