Job Description Sales Representative –Retail Job Title Sales Representative Department Retail Operations / Sales Reports To Store Manager Job Summary The Sales Representative is responsible for delivering an excellent customer shopping experience, achieving sales targets, promoting fashion products, and maintaining store standards. The role requires strong customer service skills, product knowledge, and the ability to build customer loyalty while contributing to the overall success of the store. Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner. Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and outfits. Achieve individual and store sales targets. Promote new collections, seasonal items, and ongoing promotions. Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities. Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally. Store Operations Ensure merchandise is properly displayed according to visual merchandising standards. Replenish stock on the sales floor and maintain product availability. Assist in receiving, tagging, and organizing new merchandise. Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the store. Participate in inventory counts and stock audits as required. Product Knowledge Stay updated on product features, fabric types, sizing, styling, and fashion trends. Provide accurate product information and styling advice to customers. Demonstrate knowledge of current collections and promotional campaigns. Cash Handling & POS Operations Process sales transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, card, and other payment methods according to company procedures. Support exchange and return transactions in line with company policies. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree is required (Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or any relevant field is preferred). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Previous experience in retail sales, fashion retail, or customer service is preferred. Good command of English (preferred). Basic computer and POS system skills.
