Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our training operations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of training programs. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills to manage and improve our operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for training programs.
- Analyze operational processes and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and direct the operations team to achieve business targets.
- Assist in budget development and expense management activities.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve the quality of service, productivity, and profitability.
- Liaise with clients and suppliers, managing contracts and relationships.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way.
- Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
- Assist with forecasting requirements, stocking levels, and operational needs.
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the training operations to ensure smooth progress.
- Oversee procurement processes and coordinate material and resource allocation.
- Manage health and safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a training or educational setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with operational software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with training program management.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Budget management and financial planning experience.
