Shadow Teacher / Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for an experienced and qualified female Shadow Teacher / Learning Support Assistant for a full-time, school-based role in Riyadh. Working Hours: 7:30 AM 2:35 PM Location: Riyadh Start: As soon as possible Key Responsibilities Provide appropriate in-class learning and behavioural support. Support attention, focus, classroom engagement, and following instructions and routines. Encourage positive behaviour, self-regulation, and appropriate social interaction. Promote independence and gradually reduce reliance on 1:1 support where appropriate. Work collaboratively with the class teacher and the school's Learning Support Team. Maintain regular communication with parents regarding progress. Previous experience as a Shadow Teacher, Learning Support Assistant, SEN Teacher, or Special Educator. Practical experience supporting children with attention, hyperactivity, behavioural regulation, and communication needs. SEN, Special Education, ABA, behavioural support, or related qualifications/training are highly preferred. Experience within an inclusive mainstream school environment is preferred. Strong English communication skills. Patient, calm, structured, and able to establish clear and consistent boundaries. Strong ability to build confidence while encouraging independence rather than dependency.
