Software Testing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development and execution of testing strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design, create, and execute detailed test cases based on project specifications and user stories.
• Perform manual testing to validate software functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with the automation testing team to support the development and execution of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product owners, to understand project requirements and ensure quality delivery.
• Participate in regression testing to validate that new code changes do not adversely impact existing functionalities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and testing results.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and testing best practices to enhance skills and contribute effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of agile methodologies is a plus.
