Warehouse Assistant Forklift Driver

Overview: Responsibilities: 1. Operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize products and materials within the warehouse. 2. Assist with loading and unloading shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. 3. Perform general warehouse duties, such as picking, packing, and labeling products for shipping. 4. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space, including sweeping, disposing of trash, and keeping aisles clear. 5. Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel. 6. Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. 7. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations. 8. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding inventory management and quality control. 9. Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations as needed. 10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance job skills and knowledge. Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Valid forklift certification and demonstrated proficiency in forklift operation. 3. Proven experience working in a warehouse environment, including familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory processes. 4. Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods. 5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 6. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 7. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations. 8. Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 9. Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. 10. Commitment to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
