WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN (ROTATING EQUIPMENT)

WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN (ROTATING EQUIPMENT) Location Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAE Experience Required Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in large industrial maintenance workshops. Proven experience in preventive, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance of: High-pressure compressors Steam/Gas turbines Centrifugal and reciprocating pumps Experience in petrochemical, refinery, or oil & gas plants is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of workshop equipment. Dismantle, inspect, refurbish, and reassemble: Valve shop equipment Machine shop equipment Fabrication shop equipment Troubleshoot workshop machinery independently with minimal supervision. Carry out dimensional inspection and measurements before and after refurbishment. Perform lapping of mechanical seals and valve plates. Maintain workshop equipment by periodic inspection, lubrication, and service fluid replacement. Replace and inspect grinding wheels and other consumables as per manufacturer recommendations. Preserve refurbished parts, spares, and special tools with proper identification and traceability. Maintain inspection logs and electronic maintenance records. Read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and work instructions. Operate workshop machines, testing equipment, tools, and tackles safely. Follow Company HSE requirements, PTW (Permit to Work), e-WMS procedures, and PPE regulations. Work as a Certified Job Performer (JP) and ensure compliance with approved maintenance procedures. Language Skills Good command of written and spoken English.
