PAUT Inspector

This is a full-time, on-site role for a PAUT Inspector located in Abu Dhabi.

The PAUT Inspector will be responsible for performing phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) to identify defects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, preparing detailed inspection reports, and maintaining testing equipment.

The role involves close collaboration with engineers and other team members to ensure efficient project execution. Inspectors must uphold strict adherence to guidelines and protocols for non-destructive testing.

Qualifications

• Must have: Certification in related non-destructive testing methods (e.g., ASNT or ISO 9712 Level II in PAUT)
• Proficiency in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), ultrasonic inspection, and other non-destructive testing techniques
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, quality assurance standards, and industry codes
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Previous experience in oil field or industrial inspection is a plus
• PCN TOFD Level 2 would be added advantage.
