Job Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Date Posted: 28 October 2026 Job Reference/ID: 4790 Job Description / Role: The Senior UX Researcher’s primary role is to provide support to the design team for customer research and testing activities of digital products and services. The successful candidate will be working with a diverse team of Product Owners, Engineers, and Designers to create, deliver, and test digital banking products. Key Responsibilities: User Research Planning: Develop and execute research plans that align with project goals, timelines, and stakeholder needs.Data Collection: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies.User Insights: Analyze research data to extract meaningful insights about user behaviors, needs, motivations, and pain points.Persona Development: Create detailed user personas and journey maps to guide design and development teams.Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to integrate research findings into design and product development.Reporting: Present research findings and recommendations in a clear, actionable manner to stakeholders at all levels.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest UX research methodologies and tools to continuously enhance research practices.Ethical Considerations: Ensure all research is conducted ethically, respecting user privacy and confidentiality.User Advocacy: Act as a voice of the user, ensuring that their needs and experiences are central to design decisions.Benchmarking: Measure the effectiveness of UX improvements over time and contribute to ongoing user experience benchmarking.Experience Required: Experience in working at consumer-focused product companies delivering extraordinary user experiences.The ability to direct, drive, and evolve research project inside and ever growing and experimenting environment.Experienced in acquiring user feedback, whether it is, conducting usability studies, performing user research, or A/B tests.Experienced working in a dynamic design process where we let quantitative and qualitative customer data guide our designs.Skills Required: Analytical thinkingProblem-solving capabilityExcellent communication skills in EnglishUser-focused design mentalityAbility to be self-direct and prioritizeCuriosity to learnWillingness to be adapt as new and different challenges constantly emergeLanguages: English (Arabic is a plus) Employment / Job Type: Full Time Nationality: Any Nationality About the Company: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, a Sharia compliant financial institution offering retail, corporate, private and digital banking.
