BIM Technician

Senior BIM Technician – Electrical/ Mechanical Location: New Cairo, Egypt Hire Pals is currently partnering with a leading multidisciplinary design consultancy to recruit a Senior BIM Technician – Electrical/ Mechanical to join its growing building design team in Cairo. The role will focus on the development and coordination of high-quality electrical BIM models and technical drawings, working closely with engineers and other design disciplines across a range of building projects. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed electrical BIM models, drawings and layouts using Revit.Produce accurate technical drawings based on engineering designs, specifications and project requirements.Coordinate electrical models and drawings with other building services and design disciplines.Review and update models throughout the different stages of design.Identify and resolve design and coordination issues.Support multidisciplinary design reviews and incorporate technical comments and revisions.Maintain accuracy and consistency across drawings and project documentation.Work closely with electrical engineers and the wider project team to meet project deliverables and deadlines. What We’re Looking For Strong experience in Mechanical OR Electrical BIM within building projects.Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit; proficiency in AutoCAD is highly advantageous.Good understanding of electrical building services and technical drawing production.Experience working with engineering drawings, specifications and design information.Good understanding of multidisciplinary BIM/design coordination.Ability to manage detailed technical work independently.Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.Experience within a multidisciplinary engineering or design consultancy would be advantageous.
