Delivery Captain

INSPIRE EXHILARATE DELIGHTThe Delivery Captain is responsible for delivering the customer orders and collecting the returns with care and on timely basis You will be responsible for the safe delivery of goods within your appointed region Your duties will involve ensuring goods are safely secured your vehicle is in good condition loading and unloading the vehicle and taking the quickest route to your destination Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Deliveries to WholesaleRetail Outlets Last mile customer deliveryChecking the orders before deliveryCollecting Returns to warehouse as assignedCollection of orders from shops for last mileCollection of cash from ecom COD customer and handover as per procedureCollection of payment using credit card machine for COD ecom CustomersComplete all process in FareyeShop-To-Shop TransfersCollecting the necessary documents from shops during returnReport all incidents occasions of misplaced or lost packages to Logistics Distribution DepartmentComply strictly with route and schedule as assignedPerform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance tasks when necessaryReport all maintenance issuesKeep the assigned vehicles clean inside and outEnsure that the company vehicle assigned is used exclusively for company business onlyReport any accidents at first possible instantStrict adherence to all traffic and road safety regulationsReceive or route all operating instructions via the Logistics Distribution DepartmentTo work within promote and identify improvements in company s Quality Management System as per ISO 9001 standardsImmediately report any breach in procedures company policy or security to supervisor managementStrictly follow develop and improve standard processes procedures and work instructionsAlso promote adherence to procedures by your staffReport all incidents of any nature and however caused to their immediate superior completing all necessary documentation promptly and accuratelyAlways research to improve all warehouse operations according to company s objectivesEnsure that workplace health safety amp environment requirements as per OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stockWhat you ll need to succeedValid driving licensePrevious experience in delivery or a similar role is preferredGood knowledge of local roads and routesBasic communication and customer service skillsBasic English is preferred
