Desktop Support Technician

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Technician to deliver on-site IT support at our client’s facility in Cairo. You will serve as the primary contact for end-user technical issues, ensuring high availability and performance of desktop systems and services. Location: Cairo, Egypt – Al Salam First, Berket an Nasr, Cairo Governorate (On-site at a multinational pharmaceutical client site) Employment Type: Full-Time, Directly Employed Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 7–10, MS Office 365, and PC hardware.Manage user accounts, devices, and policies via Active Directory and GPOs.Support mobile devices (iOS/Android) and enterprise encryption solutions.Log, track, and resolve helpdesk tickets within agreed SLAs.Provide clear communication and professional customer service to all users.Be available for off-hours or weekend support during projects or emergencies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.Certifications: CompTIA A+, MCP (or equivalent).1–3 years of experience in desktop support or similar role.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and prioritization skills.English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
