We are looking for a skilled BYD General Repair Technician to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work while delivering exceptional quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.What you will do:Carry out maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on BYD vehiclesPerform repairs in line with EV safety standards and manufacturer guidelinesEnsure Fix It Right and First-Time-Right repair standards are achievedConduct vehicle inspections and support Electronic Vehicle Check reportingFollow workshop safety, quality, and 5S standardsMeet productivity and utilization targetsCollaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve technical issuesMaintain a clean and professional workshop environmentRequired skills to be successful:Strong technical and mechanical skillsExperience in diagnostics, maintenance, and vehicle repairsGood understanding of automotive systems and repair processesStrong problem-solving and attention to detailAbility to follow workshop manuals and service proceduresGood communication skills in EnglishPassion for learning new technologies and EV systems You will be part of the BYD Aftersales Retail Team at Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility, helping drive the future of sustainable transportation while delivering outstanding customer service and technical excellence.What equips you for the role:Diploma, ITI, NCVT, ITC, or equivalent technical qualification2–3 years of experience as an Automotive, Diagnostic, or General Repair TechnicianExperience in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair workEV or hybrid vehicle experience is an advantageUAE driving license is an advantageWhy join us?Work with one of the world's leading EV brandsAccess ongoing training and career development opportunities
