Generator Technician

We are hiring an experienced Generator Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance of diesel generators and backup power systems across facilities. | Key Responsibilities: | • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (PPM & CM) of diesel generators. | • Diagnose and repair generator electrical and mechanical faults. | • Inspect engines, alternators, control panels, ATS panels, batteries, fuel systems, and related components. | • Carry out generator testing, load testing, servicing, and performance checks. | • Troubleshoot starting issues, voltage fluctuations, alarms, and operational failures. | • Attend breakdowns and ensure timely restoration of generator operations. | • Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and checklists. | • Follow HSE requirements, safety procedures, and FM industry standards. | Requirements: | • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Generator Technician is mandatory. | • Strong hands-on experience with diesel generators, engines, alternators, ATS panels, and control systems. | • Experience in generator preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhauling. | • Ability to read electrical drawings and technical manuals. | • UAE/GCC Facilities Management experience preferred. | • Relevant technical qualification or certification preferred.
