Manufacturing Technician

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Reports to: Disassembly Team Leader Work Location: Kozzika, Helwan, Cairo General Description Performs mechanical and interior dismantling or assembly activities from the reception train, until delivery train to tests and subsequently, solves open points of pending finishes, indicated by Quality. Job Description Follows drawings, Instruction Sheets and Control sheets to assemble the parts according to CAF procedures. Responsible for mechanical assembly operation in the train, such as: Disassembly of equipment Dismantling of interior parts Dismantling of doors and windows Assembly of supports for equipment, channelling, and electrical piping. Assembly of under-frame equipment Assembly of Flooring (boards, flooring, doorsteps) Interior design, re-assembly of overhauled elements, grilles, fibre uprights, seats, handles. Assembly under-frame of channels for electric wiring. Will arrive preassembled from supplier and must be installed in the underframe. Floor, ceiling, and side insulation. On-deck equipment Windows Doors Interior lights Overhaul operations on bogies and other equipment. Assembly of rubber joints in doors, windows, and uprights. Performs in-line movement with coordinated jacks and movement of fake bogies. Integration of bogies on cars and train coupling. Finishing: solving the points detected in the assembly areas, by Quality or by the customer, so that the cars and units are finished. Assists new operators in the modernisation work with the support of the Mechanical Assembly Supervisor. Based on the Planning, it ensures the fulfilment of activities on time. Follows Agamafab, CAF procedures and Project documentation. Completes Control Sheets in real time. Fulfil Quality objectives. Ensures tidiness, cleanliness and compliance with health and safety policies. Complies with all EHS standards and uses all necessary PPE. Reports to the team leader. Qualifications Education equivalent to a Medium-Level Training Cycle in mechanical works Experience Experience of at least two years in industrial maintenance activities Recommended experience in railway maintenance in the mechanical area.
