Mechanical Site Engineer

Job Summary: 

Responsible for supervising and executing mechanical works on site—including HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems—ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

- Supervise the installation and execution of mechanical systems (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing) as per approved shop drawings and method statements. 

- Coordinate with other site disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure smooth workflow. 

- Inspect materials delivered to site for compliance with approved submittals. 

- Monitor workforce productivity and ensure work is completed on schedule. 

- Conduct site inspections with consultants and close NCRs, snags, and punch-list items. 

- Prepare daily reports, progress tracking, and site documentation. 

- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems. 

- Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards. 

Qualifications & Skills: 

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 

- 5+ years of experience in mechanical site execution. 

- Strong knowledge of HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems. 

- Familiar with relevant codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA). 

- Good communication and site management skills.
