Operator Technician (6th Of October)

Job Title: Operator Technician Reports to: Team Leader Business Unit: ACCBC Function: Production Operations Grade: TBD Location: 6th October Area Purpose of the Job To operate process and packaging equipment safely and efficiently, perform basic machine maintenance, and support production targets while ensuring full compliance with GMP, GHK, HACCP, and safety standards. The role contributes to line efficiency, product quality, equipment reliability, and accurate production data through disciplined process and packaging operations and teamwork. Key Roles and Responsibilities Process & Equipment Operation • Operate production equipment and systems including: Process Equipment Drum EmptyingCan OpeningSugar & Pectin DissolvingMixmol SystemsMasmol SystemsEffluent / Water Treatment PlantCIP Systems Packaging / Dry Part Equipment Cooling TunnelsCan ConveyorPack ConveyorsVario Pack MachinePalletizer MachineDe-Palletizer MachineCoding Machines • Perform line start-up and end-of-production activities in line with approved procedures. • Operate equipment in accordance with approved SOPs and production instructions. • Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities or operational issues. • Achieve production targets as defined in assigned KRAs. Basic Maintenance Support • Assist Maintenance Technicians in performing basic mechanical and operational maintenance. • Support Maintenance, Chargehand, and Supervisors in identifying and evaluating operational problems. • Recommend corrective actions to minimize breakdowns and production interruptions. • Assist in maintaining equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Safety, GMP & HACCP Compliance • Maintain GMP, GHK, and HACCP practices at all times. • Work safely and report unsafe acts, conditions, or practices. • Support corrective actions to eliminate safety risks. • Maintain process-related documents, logs, and records required for IQMS and HACCP compliance. • Contribute to achieving Zero Lost Time Accidents (LTA). Raw & Packaging Material Control • Accurately capture, record, and control Raw Material (RM) and Packaging Material (PM) usage variances. • Prepare daily raw material requisitions and issuance records. • Prepare raw material rejection and left-over RM return reports. • Conduct daily physical inventory checks for raw and packaging materials. • Ensure timely and accurate posting of production and material data. Coordination & Teamwork • Coordinate closely with Team Leaders, Assistant Team Leaders, Operators, Maintenance, and Quality teams. • Support line efficiency through effective teamwork and communication. • Maintain flexibility to support different production areas and operational requirements as needed. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Achievement of production targets as per assigned KRAs. • Compliance with GMP, GHK, and HACCP standards. • Zero Lost Time Accidents. • Line efficiency and smooth production operation. • Equipment reliability and reduced downtime. • Accuracy and timeliness of production and material data posting. • Reduction in process deviations and material variances. Requirements Experience • Minimum 3 years of experience in Food & Beverage or FMCG manufacturing operations. Knowledge • Basic knowledge of process and packaging equipment and production operations. • Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements. • Familiarity with basic maintenance support activities. • Understanding of production documentation and inventory control. Qualifications • Graduate of any Technical Course, ITI, or 10+2 qualification (minimum).
