Safety Officer

Looking for 2 Safety Officers to ensure a safe working environment by identifying hazards, conducting inspections, implementing safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with company and UAE HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily workplace safety inspections.
• Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
• Conduct risk assessments, JSA/JHA, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor safety during galvanizing, chemical, lifting, and machinery operations.
• Ensure proper PPE use and compliance.
• Monitor hot work, LOTO, work-at-height, lifting, and electrical safety.
• Inspect fire-fighting and emergency equipment.
• Conduct safety induction and training.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Maintain HSE records and reports.
• Assist with emergency drills and heat-stress prevention.
• Report serious hazards and safety violations to management.
• Promote a strong safety culture.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma/Degree in HSE, Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of industrial safety experience.
• Experience in galvanizing, steel, or manufacturing is preferred.
• First Aid and Fire Safety certification is an advantage.
