Survey Technician

Conduct topographic surveys for sites, determining elevations, contours, and distances.Sign off on benchmarks and reference points, establishing property boundaries and infrastructure according to approved plans.Utilize modern surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS devices, levels, and cameras.Prepare surveys, maps, and reports, documenting measurement results accurately.Review engineering drawings and compare survey data with project requirements.Calculate areas, volumes, and necessary parameters for construction activities.Verify the accuracy of measurements and data, addressing any discrepancies or field observations.Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure work proceeds according to plans.Maintain surveying equipment and standards, ensuring readiness for use.Adhere to safety procedures while working in various field environments. Skills Practical experience in field surveying work, preferably in construction or civil projects.Proficiency in using modern surveying equipment and software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS applications as needed.Strong ability to read engineering drawings and understand surveying systems and topographic maps.Possession of a valid driving license for transportation between job sites.Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations.Able to work in field conditions and various environments.Data analysis skills and report preparation capabilities.Effective communication and coordination skills with work teams.Able to solve problems and make field decisions as needed.Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
